In the Footsteps of Tolkien

On Thursday July 3rd Penkridge Library led a very succesful Tolkien in the First World War Trail walk. The 12 mile walk began at Penkridge Library taking in Cannock Chase, via Gypsy Green and Park Gate Bridge, following in the footsteps of J.R.R. Tolkien. BBC Radio Stoke followed the event and recorded librarian Scott Whitehouse’s observations on the day.
