Volunteers Wanted for New Musical based on Cannock Chase’s First World War Training Camps !!

The new musical – Four Winters at War – has been written by local playwright, Peter Sidgwick to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Great War.

It will be performed in the Birches Valley open air venue on Cannock Chase in the area where around 500, 000 men lived and trained in the two Great War camps.

Cannock Chase Arts Council is looking for a huge team of actors, dancers, musicians and singers to take part as well as painters, tapestry makers and artists to help design the sets.

The perfomances will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June and tickets are on sale now from the Prince of Wales Theatre.
