Not Just Names is a new book which looks at the lives of Staffordshire people who died fighting during the Great War.

It is a tribute to the Fallen of Cannock Chase which was written by Paul Bedford and focuses on residents of Bridgtown, Cannock, Chadsmoor, Hednesford, Wimblebury, Heath Hayes and Norton Canes.

Through mini biographies, it focuses on men whose names appear on the War Memorials in these towns and villages in South Staffordshire and is intended as a tribute to these men in the hope that they will never be just names on a memorial.
