Baroness Williams visits Brampton Park

Baroness Williams of Crosby visited Brampton Park in Newcastle Under Lyme on Thursday 23rd July.

In 2000 she planted a copper beech on the Park in memory of her mother, Vera Brittain – who wrote ‘Testament of Youth’. She saw the tree and also the Lady in the Park sculpture which was inspired by the famous book.
