Wartime Costumes

The Staffordshire County Museum recently received two beautifully made children’s costumes which are on display in the exhibition. These were made for a performance of ‘Enchanted Glen’ which was held for prisoners of war at Brocton Camp on Cannock Chase in 1917. They were worn by Eva Davis (aged 7) and her sister Kathleen (aged 4) from Stafford.
